The Barcelona Harbor House has new ownership. David and Greg Zimmerman purchased the business and officially took over on May 22, 2007.  Throughout the summer months Stuart and Martha Delaplaine continued to be part of the operation along with David and Greg.

Stuart and Martha would like to thank the many customers that we have been honored to serve. Everyone has been special to us in many ways. Thanks again for your patronage over the past 25 years. After 38 years of the restaurant business it was time for us to sit back and relax. Now a new generation will take the restaurant to the next level. We certainly hope you enjoy the new changes about to happen with the Harbor House.

During the summer months the restaurant has gone through a wonderful transition period. A large lake side patio has been built along with a warming pit for those cool days. So far, many customers have been enjoying the relaxing atmosphere of  sitting on the patio chatting and watching the different activities on Lake Erie.

And that is only the beginning. Planned for October will be a fireplace in the cocktail lounge area and in the spring an outside Tiki Bar and Kitchen to compliment the Patio Menu. Extensive landscaping will take place as soon as the winter months pass.  Also the possibility of a second floor deck with an enhanced view of Lake Erie (and Canada on some days). Plus other changes are in the making.

The name has also changed from the Barcelona Harbor House to the Zebro's Harbor House and the patio area names Zebro's on the Lake. Without going in to detail on the "Zebro's" part, you will have to ask David or Greg. But be prepared to listen to the whole story.

Zebro's Harbor House is going to be open 7 days a week. Serving lunch Monday through Saturday from 11 am until 2 pm. Dinner Served from 4 pm until 10 pm and on Sunday from noon until 8 pm. Also, the restaurant is planning on being open year around.  So for summer time, there will be the Lakeside Patio and for the winter months there will be the warmth of the large fireplace in the cocktail lounge.

Zebro's Harbor House is located in the Westfield hamlet known as Barcelona. The restaurant is located right on the shore of Lake Erie just steps from the beach.  Also within a very short walk is a full marina, the Daniel Reed pier, a bed and breakfast, gift shop, Commercial Fisherman's Museum, and more.
